IIT JAM 2026 counselling registration has started. The last date to complete the registration process is April 15, 2026. Candidates who have qualified for IIT JAM 2026 can apply online through the official JOAPS portal at joaps.iitb.ac.in/login. The first seat allotment list will be released on May 25, 2026.

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, also known as SLIET, is a government institute established in 1989. Located in Longowal, Sangrur, Punjab, the SLIET campus spans over 451 acres. SLIET Admission 2025
SLIET admissions are based on national-level entrance examinations, institute-level entrance examinations (SLIET SET), and merit in qualifying examinations for certain programs. Students seeking admission at SLIET must fulfill the eligibility criteria and appear for the relevant entrance examination. The admission process is online. Below are the criteria for SLIET admissions:
- B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering): Candidates must appear for JEE Main and participate in JoSAA Counselling for seat allotment.
- M.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering): Candidates must appear for GATE and participate in CCMT Counselling for seat allotment.
- MBA: Candidates must appear for CAT/CMAT and participate in institute-level counselling.
- M.Sc (Physics): Admissions are based on merit in the qualifying examination or an entrance test conducted by SLIET.
- Diploma (Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering): Admissions are based on SLIET SET or merit in the qualifying examination (10th standard).
SLIET Admission Dates 2025
SLIET admission is granted to students who qualify for the entrance exam and meet the college’s cutoff. Moreover, students also must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. For B.Tech admission, JEE Mains score is considered, and the allotment takes place through JoSAA counselling, admissions for this year BTech courses are ongoing, JoSAA has released the cutoff for various rounds, interested candidates can check the result on the official website. For MTech admissions, GATE scores are considered followed by CCMT counselling. This year MTech admissions have already been done, for next year the registrations will start from August 2025.
